A Singular Focus

Matt. 10:27-42

 “Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops.” Jesus did teach His disciples privately but never just for their own sake. He was not able to speak freely to the crowds since they were not ready to hear what He was saying. Still, He wanted them to get the message. What He privately taught the disciples was meant for the people and the disciples by reason of what they had learned were to be their teachers. Spiritual insight is never intended for just one. If God gives you understanding then He wants you to share it. Others also need to hear and to understand.
