The Good Shepherd

John 10:11-21

David saw that God was his shepherd and that He was the kind of shepherd who laid down His life for His sheep. This was seen in where he took the sheep and in his concern for their every need. It was seen in His constant presence in every circumstance, His good will for every day and for eternity. Relationship with God gave David insight into being sheep and what David experienced as that sheep was joy, joy in knowing the Lord, joy in the care that He provides.
